Dr. Wan received his Ph.D. in
strategic management from Texas A&M University. His research focuses on product and international
diversification strategies, international strategy, international corporate governance, business groups,
multinational enterprises, country institutional environments and firm strategies, as well as small firms'
international strategy. His research articles have appeared in Academy of Management Journal,
Strategic Management Journal, Journal of International Business Studies, Journal of Management,
Journal of Management Studies, Management International Review, and Accounting, Organizations & Society.
Prior to joining the TTU faculty, Dr. Wan was an associate professor of management at Thunderbird,
The Garvin School of International Management.
