Having joined the staff of the Jerry S. Rawls College
of Business in 2003, Ms. Joost is now the Unit Coordinator for the Area of Management under the direction of the
Area Coordinator, William (Bill) Gardner. She also assists Tom Lumpkin with the administration of the PhD in
Management Program. Ms. Joost has 25 years experience in business administration, healthcare management and
higher education including development and coordination of lectureships and special events.
She received her B.B.A. in Computer Information Systems from Lubbock Christian University and participates in
post-graduate studies in Educational Technology at Texas Tech University. She is a member of the Golden Key Honor
Society and the Lubbock Chapter of the Association of Women in Communication.
