Personal Information :
Dr. Krefting received the PhD in Industrial Relations from the University
of Minnesota. She is a co-editor, with Peter J. Frost and Walter R. Nord, of HRM Reality: Putting Competence in Context, published by Prentice-Hall.
She has also published articles in the Journal of Management Inquiry, Women in Management Review, and Employee Responsibilities and Rights Journal.
She has been a frequent presenter at professional association meetings on issues of gender and diversity. Her presentation, “Dissemination of
'The Feminine' in Management via the Oped Pages of the Wall Street Journal,” received a Best Paper award at the 2000 Annual Meeting of the Academy of
Management.
