Jeremy Short (Ph.D, Louisiana State University) is the Jerry S. Rawls Professor
of Management at Texas Tech University. He serves on two editorial boards (Journal of Management and Organizational Research Methods)
and is an incoming Associate Editor for the Journal of Management beginning summer of 2008. His work appears or has been accepted
to appear in such journals as Strategic Management Journal, Journal of Management, Personnel Psychology, Organizational Behavior
and Human Decision Processes, Organization Science, Organizational Research Methods, Academy of Management Learning and Education
and Journal of Management Education, among others. His award winning teaching includes classes such as Principles of Management,
Strategic Management, Entrepreneurship, and Management History, among other classes. Jeremy’s research focuses on the determinants
of firm performance, entrepreneurship, and research methods.
