D. Bailey is a PhD student in the department of management
at Texas Tech University. His primary field of specialization is international business
strategy, drawing upon the disciplines of both international business and strategic management.
His research approach is interdisciplinary, as he also draws from the disciplines of political
science, economics and sociology. His research examines business-government relations, with a
focus on the interdependence between foreign investment by multinational corporations and their
political contexts. He received a B.S. in Political Science and an MBA in Business Administration
from Boise State University. He currently teaches Strategic Management.
