The Area of Management, Rawls
College of Business, offers classes designed
to develop students' communication, entrepreneurial, team building,
leadership, strategic and interpersonal skills. Through
cutting edge research, we generate new knowledge about effective management practices in organizations
that prepares our students to compete in the global economy. Our commitment to excellence

At the Rawls College of
Business, management students learn the principles in planning,
organizing, leading, and controlling business organizations.
Courses are designed to enhance students' knowledge and skills
pertaining to entrepreneurship, managerial communications, human
resource management, leadership, international management,
strategic management, negotiation, change and innovative
processes, and executive skills. Students develop distinctive
competencies that enable them to effectively manage, lead and
compete in the global marketplace while modeling high standards
of ethical conduct and social responsibility.
